Incoming links from foreign languages

Hi everybody!
I have a difficult problem no-one can help me at the moment. So I count on you specialists here :-)

Lets say I have a .com -domain on a server located in the USA. The language of my page is english (and only english). My character set is utf-8 and the language set in the meta-descriptions is "en".
The Domain is made only for english-spoken surfers.
But the only incoming Links this Domain has is from foreign language-Domains (e.g. germans).

Can you tell me in what Index I will be listet?

in the "english-spoken"-index (a USA-citizen goes to google.com and types "keyword" without setting any options)

or in the german index: a german goes to google.de and types "keyword" and finds me

or in a mixture of both?

IMO, you could/would be found in both. However, you would not be found if people explicitly selected "Seiten auf Deutsch" or "Seiten aus Deutschland" (but you already knew that).

I've always assumed that the last option requires either a ".de" domain or, if you have something generic like ".com", a "German IP address" (i.e., a server that is known to be physically located in Germany). I suspect that it is not a result of incoming links --although that could be different if every IBL is from a German site...

If link analysis is taking into account the title tag and text surrounding your link on the German pages, then I suspect it might not be helping to rank in English.

I suspect that if every IBL is from a German site there's a very high possibility that he'll appear in the "Seiten auf Deutsch" section.

I have a Spanish site which until recently was hosted in the US and without any special language tags it was appearing in the "páginas en español" option.
