Does anyone have some advice about building a solid link program on one of my sites. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

That's a very vague question you ask.

What do you want from the links?

I think if you spend a some time having a look around this forum you will have a good idea of the direction to take.

A good place to start is in the library: [webmasterworld.com...]

Especially this thread: [webmasterworld.com...]

You will pick up a lot there very quickly.

Obtain a veriety - one way links, recip links, paid links... to a variety of pages - main page, internal pages, deep pages... from a variety of source types - hubs, authority sites, commercial sites, informational sites... create reasons for people to link - free tools, viral content, good content...

Honestly, the best links you can get are the ones you would want even if an engine didn't exist.

Build good content or feature good products shown in a unique light... Build links on the premise of creating traffic for yourself and not for boosting your "green bar" and you'll have just the types of links an engine is looking for and the type that will stand the test of time, er algorithms.
