I've been getting e-mail requesting link exchange from gaming and pharmaceutical sites (totally unrelated to my music site) I never reply to these but I've noticed now that they have links to my site on some of their links pages now. These links pages are just long lists of unrelated sites.

Can this do me harm?
Will they remove the links to my site if I ask?

Most of those pages are gray barred, lucky if they're white barred. This is probably the last thing to worry about.

They all get filtered by my Junk Mail filter. ;)

If you want to trade links with me you'll have to call me on the phone. My phone number is listed on my website.

I deal with it this way because most(all?) link exchange requests I get via email are people just "phishing" for links. I guess if they send out a million of them they'll get a few suckers on the way.

I personally don't think they can harm you.

Most likely they'll gone in a few weeks anyway if you don't recriprocate.
