I'm just starting to create a niche advertising network - a program where folks in an industry - or closely related industry - share ad space on their sites. (for example, mortgage brokers might advertise real estate agents, and vice versa).

I've got two questions on the design I'd welcome feedback on:
- Should I make these run of site ads, or home page only?
- What's the best/fairest way to calculate how much weight someone brings to the network? Can't have equal adspace given to a pr 10 with 10,000 pages. I know similiar networks have used page rank X pages indexed, not sure that's the best way - particularly if I do home page only vs. ROS ads.

I would say neither.

have you reviewed link vault or digital point coop to see how they do it? take their best ideas and make them better.
