There is not one link going to you. Links will be the key to this potentially massively successful site.
You are now ready to begin your campaign to get links.
What do you do?
You're best bet is to do something viral that will get you attention. If you can get the attention of the blogosphere and get lots of one way links in you have a shot.
Otherwise it's going to have be slow build, I'd say 6-9 months minimum. Buying advertsing links will speed up the process, but buying 20,000 links or a few massive ROS links will get you a trip straight to the sandbox.
A welcome page, a company page, a contact page, an about us page, a faqs page about the service or product you intend to provide.
To be safe that the links will credit, I wouldn't advocate pointing links to a holding page, but I guess that's better than no page at all. In any case, many directories might not accept a submission of a one page placeholder. So the above pages will help you get directory submissions done.
Actually people will link to your site now. People with no pr themselves. Just make sure the their pages are cached by google. If they are also actively seeking links they will also have pr next update.I think people are less demanding on pr these days anyway from what my staff tell me.
