One page for all links?

Is this tacky looking?

Hello,
I have been think about having a single page for one-way links to relevant sites for general customer information purposes. Does that have any negative or positive impact on the site?

Thanks

Less catogorized equals not as much chance for those pages to rank highly, plus you will limit the number of outbounds you can usefully add to the page.

Directory style is much better for a host of reasons that isn't worth hashing out.

Bottom line= categorized is better for users and better for the people you link to. Everyone wins, even you (better for YOUR users).

It depends on what sites you are linking to. If you are only adding links to one relevant category, one page would be fine. Otherwise, categorized is better.

Hi WebOne,

I use a single page, with only very relevant links on my wholesale site. Everything else goes into my retail directory, categorized.

As far as I know (which isn't far these days), there wouldn't be any negative impact with a single page until you start placing hundreds of links on the page.
