Link question

My site is a little over one month old. After reading how important it is to get back links, I had an article published which gave me lots of incoming links. So why is it that all the links show good rank for keywords but my site is like on page 40? It also has nothing but the URL in the site description. Is this normal for being new? I hope I'm not pushing it but...how long before I can expect to get a PR?

You will probably need 1-2 months so teh new links to your site will show up in G.

By the way, where did you post the article? Your experience looks pretty tempting :)

My inbound links are showing in most of the SE's even Google. When I do a keyword search for my site, they are the ones that show at the top but my site is waaaay down on Google.

The article is on several business sites. I don't think I can give the links. I am new here and made that mistake once :0
