I know its probably on here - forgive me for asking.

What's the best way to have our affiliates link to our site? I want to get SEO value for the links and still track our affilates sales accuractely.

Is www.example.com?aid=1234 a good method?

link to something like domain.com?affid and then 301 redirect to domain.com after setting a cookie on the visitor. This way you should get full linking credit as well as track visitors accurately (or as accurately as is possible with cookies).

Hey,

I thought that non formal links (anything now www.example.com, or the like), did not pass pr or anchor text value?

Thoughts?
