I wanted to get a link to my site <a href=www.widgets.com/?nice-widgets&ref=theirsite.com>widgets</a>

the guy i am getting link from says that se's won't be able to crawl and it's won't do any good. can anyone share their experiences doing this?

ps www.widgets.com/?nice-widgets&ref=theirsite.com does work if you go to it via browser.

Cheers

The se's will crawl it fine. The problem is "www.widgets.com/?nice-widgets&ref=theirsite.com" will get the benefit of the link and not "www.widgets.com"

I could put

www.widgets.com/?nice-widgets&ref=121

and it wouldn't be a problem though?
