I always do reciprical links,, i find them on related websites. I sell art so naturally link up with my competitors. Is there a method to find non reciprical links submission websites? I would like find those but have a very hard time doing so, anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I search google in the following way:

Art "add url"
Art "submit site"
Art "submit url"
Art "add site"
etc.
etc.
etc.

Usually you can find a good number of sites you can link to without a reciprocal link. Good Luck!

I get a good success looking at sites similar to mine.
Cecking their linkpopularity I can find directories or other stes that can link you (one way).

try to monitor similar sites that are doing a strong link campaign; you can use Google Alert to monitor several sites...

Search on the terms you want to rank for. Take all the sites that rank above you and enter this in yahoo:
linkdomain:www.site-that-ranks-above-you.com
Review their links, and approach the sites that link to them for a link to your site.

Also, check all the sites that rank above you simply to see if some of them will link to you. You can generally find a site or two in the first five pages of the search term you're looking to rank for, that will link to you (thus giving you a one way inbound and ontopic link).

as was said, do some searching and surfing :D

I also find this to be a good way. Just yesterday I located some places, on target, to submit my link at no charge (one-way) and even a good on-target site that was like $5 a month for a home page link (PR 5, back links, etc). Not a bottom of the page either, above the fold :D

I used to spend all my time looking for ways around the search and surf only to find myself with nothing solid and weeks gone by. I got more results yesterday alone by doing the ol S & S. :D

Try some of these strategies:

- free directories/search engines
- request links from complimentary websites. If you have a good site, some of them will link to you.
- purchase links from quality, relevant sites (if you have the budget)
- text link brokers (can be somewhat risky if you don't use a good one. Again, this requires the budget to do so)
- find forums that allow site promotion

Reciprocal linking is easier because you are giving something in return. If your site is good enough, other sites will agree to link to you.

Depending on your industry you might be able to come up with something to offer in return for one way links.

Try searching ~keyword to find sites that might not be so competitive but are at least broadly relevant.
