I have written many articles for the benefit of building my incoming links. I specifically allow people to use the article as long as they give me a clickable link...however not all do that. I sometimes find they do not even have contact info on their site so I have to do a whois to find them and contact them. However..today I came across a site that I can't find in whois and they are using several of my articles with no clickable link. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can contact them? They have no way of contacting them on their site.
Thanks for all information.
ps. it is a .info site.

Unless they signed a contract, they don't have any copyrights to that article if you can prove you wrote it.

A standard C&D letter might suffice if you find that address and you should look into having a standard contract written up to cover yourself in the future on these matters.

IF they are running Adsense on the site, you might be able to make your case to adsense that they are using your material without permission and running adsense on those pages. IT's against adsense TOS.

Try the standard email address approach: info@... webmaster@... administrator@... there is noramally one of these active that should get through to the site owner.
