Backlink from Directories and Sites that droped Goggle PR.

This question is for the SEO people that charge money for the services and back links .

We ha spent over $250 for back links from directory listings that had PR of 3 or higher. 25 to 40 a pop.

Since the last Google PR update on 1/1/2005 - most if not all of those sites got their toolbar PR indicator wiped off as on the first day.

Gradually, BL form Google disappeared.

Question is not why but what's next.

Will our PR drop as well?.

question is did the backlinks ever show? Google does not display all backlinks. So unless your pr goes as well I would not worry. Check on you to see if theye are there. You can sticky me your domain if you like and I will have a look for you.

Yes, your PR will drop (maybe not a whole notch, though) if the links to you have gone from PRx to PR0.

Domains that once held PR and are suddenly show no PR have been penalized and carry no PR to pass on to you.
