Moved from a .com to a .co.uk

Need to move some links too...

I've moved a number of links already...but some webmasters have not responded to my request.

Is it ok to offer money to change an existing link. I mean, why should they be bothered doing it for free.

What is the etiquette in situations like these? Ask without offering money, then if they don't do it offer a few bucks? If so, how much should I offer?

An email telling them that your domain name has moved should suffice possibly followed up by a phone call, more important would be to put in a sitewide 301 redirect on the original domain and leave it in place for a month or two.
