Ok we all know the link command in G is "broken", making it difficult to use it analyze your competitors backlinks. However if they have a sitwide link pointing to them, something with over 150 pages (don't know where min level is for sure) it really throws the research out of whack, as thats the only domain that G will show. So if you can get your hands on a fairly decent site wide that is on topic, it may throw up enough a smoke screen to confuse the lightweights. Justy make sure you know the risks before you do it. ;-)

Depending on who you're talking about I'm either a lightweight or a heavyweight (which we know in the grand scheme of things means I'm a lightweight).

Is there really a risk from a 150 page ROS link from a relevant partner? Obviously, tens of thousands of links from somebody can crater some sites.

I'm guessing that a mega PR, heavily linked site can buy huge ROS links without getting hurt. Can anyone confirm? THe majority of the reports lately about text links killing you have come from PR 5 and 6 sites.
