I am curious to know if only links that are directly related to your site help you or if and link with a good page rank help.

Would your site also be considered as adult?

any incoming link will help for link popularity.

you want the link to have incoming relevant text to your site, preferably containing the keyterms you want to rank for.

the relevance of the link is determined solely by the anchor text and surrounding descriptive text, not by title of the page the link is coming from.

Even though I say all this, I do not have any adult sites, and I do not seek links from adult sites. If they want to link to my sites, I have no problem with that.

Why don't I seek links from adult sites? Simply because I can't see getting traffic through that link. I can't imagine someone browsing an adult site wanting to visit my site.

I disagree, I dont link to sites that are not related to my field.
