Hi,

I was wondering how much people charge on your own site for a text link?

- My site has ok page rank of 4.
- My site is an information only site no affiliate business.
- My site does have some good inbound links.

Ive had a few people insist that they pay me the £11.99 per year for a link.

I ask because I dont want to be loosing any money, or should i be happy with that.

Or am i ripping people off?

Let me know what yous think,

It comes down to two things:-

1. How much your link will influence their SE rankings.

and/or

2. How much targetted high quality traffic you can send them (or untargetted quantity if that's what they need).

You price accordingly, and in a sense based on ROI that your client gets in terms of the above two.

I have a PR 4 site, prominent links on the front page go for $199 a year US.

To go on my resources section, I don't charge if they put one up to me ;)
