Already in Google, would Yahoo Directory help?

I'm already listed in google and have a PR of 3. I am on page 2 and seek to go to #1. The Yahoo directory category I would be using has a PR of 4. Do you think 300$ would be worth it? I've been trying to put links in guestbooks already.

I would not shell out money for a Y directory listing on a site that I was using low quality promotion techniques on.

Blog spamming and guestbook spamming are for sites that you don't care if they get burned.

I would suggesting putting better efforts towards DMOZ and other directories. Both Free and Paid.
