let's assume you have a new commerical oriented website SEOed up and ready to go. However, having outside links is not an option.

You then find a PR5 site selling a text link on their site to yours for say $30 a month.

Would you:

a. buy the link to get google over to your new site and start the action.

or

b. something else?

Kind of stumped on this one.

Thanks

Do you mean having outgpoing links is not an option?

Before spending the money for an inbound link I'd try for some free one way inbounds.

yes, outgoing links.

I am not sure where to locate a place for free one-way linking.

$30 bucks seems like a lot but if it is a quality site, and especially if the link is on their homepage, it will definitely get the bot to visit.

Buy advertising on sites that actually will send you traffic.

I am not sure where to locate a place for free one-way linking.

Try searching with-in your business category for things like...

category +"add url"

or

category +"submit site"

etc.

You might find sites that offer free, or at least low cost one way links, depending on the category of course.

Hi VegasRook,

There are a number of directories which also accept one-way links.

If it's a related link on a quality site $30/month doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Especially with a PR5. It depends on your budget.

I can tell you right now it's going to be hard to find a lot of quality 1-way links.

Read that. You will find many 1 way links by reading that thread.
