I know nothing about presentation and link exchange.

But this is the basic and it is what people want to see in any guide/doc/report.

1/ Plan of action (we will do this and this...)
2/ Timeframe (at this date, blah, blah ... - stick to it!)
3/ Output (pertinent information, better PR, higher visits, etc...)
4/ Indicators of result (numbers, stats, etc..)

ummmhh...

Thanks,

Is this for a pitch or something?

well, I am getting several people to help our link exchanges from other parts of the company, I need to show them what to do how to do it etc... so I built a guide.

I guess im going to be a teacher for a day...

I also need to show the directors how it all works etc... :o

OK - I am with you.

I would do a detailed yet easy to understand presentation in Powerpoint with brief bullet point notes for hand outs.

I read a very good explanation that compared linking to people where each link is 'knowing someone' The person who knows the most people (outgoing link) in a community and also is known by the most people (incoming link) is the most popular person in the community (hub, authority). By linking to and getting links (knowing/being known by) from the most people in a community (in a subject area) you become the most popular person (best linked website = authority/hub).
