to me, i prefer using link automate because of the following:

1. i have more control and the software is always mine. I worry if I don't pay linksmanager, I will lose all my links.

2. Link automate is a good link exchange management software ( I use it for a while)

3. Many people suspect linksmanager's sites are rubbish and link farm, thus, may create a bad image towards your site when you seek links.

Hello,
Have no experience with LM, but do use LA. LA is a nice program, with logical navigation.
There is one big disadvantage, the software can only keep track on links spointing to your main index page (better to say, one page within your website). It is not possible to start a linking campaing, where you ask your link partners to link to different inner (deep)pages within your site. In these cases the software cant validate if your link partners still link back.

My 2 cents....

I think it can be set in the option editor. Not try it thoroughly though.

But I think linking to homepage is enough. I will prefer to "focus" to build high PR in one page, and let that page's PR distribute to other internal pages.

Thanks for the comments, I used links manager, made the swap to LA, and have never experienced such bad support with LA. Their support staff are in china ( I think), and there english is not too good.

I eventaully asked for a refund. I think LM is on the way out, there is talk of sites not passing PR with LM.

Time for a new tool :(

Jaffstar; Myself, i dont exchange with any site that has the look and feel of using LM software. The way you have to add the link is to my opinion hopeless... with the 4 steps involved. (fill in form, fill in security, add partners link, and than also replying to an email (which bounches most often, so you have to remove the initial link agian...)

Manwah; The LA software is not cheap, with that knowledge i expect that i can have link campaigns towards inner pages. If you launch a new site and have 300 links pointing towards the main index page, your are bound to be filtered out by any search engine. To my opinion, when establishing an authority (thats what we want, isnt it) you need to have links pointing towards at least 10% of your inner pages. LA is to that point useless at best.

Just my opinion...

I don't think their support is bad. Instead, I think linkautomate is helpful and respond quite fast.

Sometimes, English is not a problem as long as you can understand. It is a tool for communication only. That's my view.

People reports LM has PR problem because they think that LM is a Link Farm. However, I don't believe Google ban them as long as you use it properly.
