I'm trying to set up a good linking campaign with reciprocal links and such for my company. I have several offers from Yahoo store sites for reciprocal links. My question is that how valid and useful will links from such sites be? Will my PageRank be boosted at all?

Depending upon the search engine you care most about it my be worth following. Take a look at the PR held by these stores, and assume you will get something passed along.

A number of my clients are using the Yahoo Store system, and in each case they typically have a few forms of URLs that we notice in the SERPs...

ystorename.com
store.yahoo.com/ystorename

...are both actively in use. In the past, other subdomains had been used (like shop.yahoo.com/ystorename) but most of these other forms now forward to the Yahoo Shopping Search Center.

So, if anything, you may get credit for double-link pop if Google hasn't caught on yet that the sites are the same on both URLs. For what it may be worth, I've had one client using both forms of URLs in the engines -- and both formats have been there for well over three years now.

Good luck.
