I currently have a pr 6 site with about 200 pages. On the bottom footer of those pages, i have a link to my new site.

The backlinks are showing up on the new site and it has a PR of 5 now, but traffic is low.

If i take out all the links on my first site that point to my second site, will my first site gain anything from it?

i think just a link from the homepage of the first site is sufficient if they are all linking to the homepage of the second/new site.

i don't think that haveing the link out is causing any trouble.

btw Pages have pr not websites, each webpage has a (different) pr value for google not the site as a whole
