Respectable amount of link?

When it comes to links I know the more the merrier, but what is a respectable amount of links to have when doing a link:domain.com search in Google? 50, 100, 200?

It depends on the business you're in and the number of domains the links are from. But as you said, the more the better. :)

As long as you have better anchor texts. Whatever that is, these days.

More the better usually, but try to get lots of homepage and single level down or home directory links.

www.example.com www.example.com/onelevel/page.htm www.example.com/page.htm

IMHO that lends more weight since those pages (well, the first one mostly) are usually more visible. If someone is offering a homepage link it's probably quite important.
