When feeding to directories

  • url
  • cat
  • title, description, and url submitted
  • date submitted

The date submitted is important when submitting to Yahoo's free area because you may need to resubmit it at a later date if your submission has been discarded.

As for websites, I look for website data I could use to personalize the link request.

Thanks :)

Does anyone has a template of what they send in an email asking for a link? :)

IMHO it is always best to do a personal request when seeking a link, including either the webmaster or site owner's name. Canned requests get just that-canned.

If your site starts ranking for anything (and some times even if it doesn't) - people will send you *plenty* of "templates" in your email. ;)
