Given identical PR, is there any difference between 5 incoming from same url as 5 from different urls

As far as Google PageRank goes, no. If the links are all on the same page then it doesn't help because the PR that is credited to your page per link will be divided by the number of links.
It is PageRank and not DomainRank :)
