Hi,

I am new so, can someone please explain.

Someone was giving adivce on internal linking.
How do I internal link? say, I have 4 main pages and home page. should I have each main page link to every other main page? is that the main thing to look for, regarding internal linking, or is there more to it?

please advice.

Yes, that's part of it.

Your site should have a navigation menu with, in your case, 5 links on it -- one for each page and one for the home page. This menu should appear on every page. That's just a basic element of user-friendly design.

Beyond that, on your red widgets page, if you have reason in the text to mention that you also have excellent green widgets, you should link in the text to the green widgets page. That helps you gain a little more anchor text boost.

Of course, in the long run you will probably want to expand your site beyond 5 pages. The more great content you have, the more chances to have a page (or several) perform well in the SERPs.

And welcome to WebmasterWorld. :)
