Problem with duplicate link description?

Currently I have one links page. For reciprocal links I've always asked for links to my Index page with exactly the same description. I understand that it may be better to ask for links to other pages on my site but if I chose to just stick with my Index page, is there a problem with having the description the same? I have about 20 links so far.

probaly not, but I think it is a good idea to vary your link text and description.
