Why bother with sites that use link manager
regardless of gg pr They don't provide us in the
link biz with pop. Furthermore, I think they are not only ignored but distract engines from their given focus. I could be wrong?

I think you are on target with your assumption. I RARELY(never even?) link to sites that use Link Manager.

I can always smell an automated link swap email from a mile away.

Just my opiniion.

I dont know about that. I have traded my links with many sites that have link managers and if I do a search of my domain name, it shows many of the pages where my link is listed....

Maybe it depends on the site using the link manager.. If the site has pop-ups and other things in thier that search engines dont like then it may not be listed.

Over all it may not affect affect your ranking, and it is still available for others to see who happen to view the site.

Hope some one can add on.
