How do you find them and how much do you pay them

A few basic mkting questions:

1.How do you find (fast) those high PR6+ sites, on which you put a sponsor text link on home page and through out the site?

2. How much is it suitable to pay them?

3. which one is better: a sponsor text link on a PR6+ site VS. say, 50 links to your site in 50 different site's links page?

To find them just do searches for some of the competitive search terms out there and check the backlinks of sites toward the top. Also check backlinks of sites linking to them and sites linking to those.

You can discover whole networks of sites that way and learn a lot about linking strategies. They're absolute masters at it in certain industries.

You can maybe follow some ODP categories or visit Google Directory and check your related categories and start viewing websites in Google Page Rank order and you have the TOP PR websites.

More interestingly, where do I find people prepared to pay for ontopic link text on med-renage PR sites (5 and 6). As It seems a good way to monteize succesfull info sites with high PR, that don't lend themselves well to affiliate programs.
