oOps CC'd instead of BCC'd

Do you have a auto reply or just reply with your URL?

I've done this more than once when a mailing list I was added to sends me a email but does a CC instead of BCC to all the people on the list. I quickly reply with my tag for my site or a nice auto reply message which goes out to the whole list to get some quick fix traffic.

This has deemed to work good for me thus far since most of the people were webmasters in the field of mine and would like to my site just from my simple URL going to a reply or as an auto reply :D Have you ever done it or wanted to?

I have always thought about it, but have been hesitant to do it. Do you get emails to remove them from your mailing list?

We got a link request the other day with about 300 people in the cc...ha ha ha. It saves me looking for the links myself and now I have 300 more e-mails to request links from.

Thanks whoever did that!

Good One. Happens a lot of time. Somebody emailed me a yahoo Group Join Request. Had 140 people. :-)

Then another company emailed all their customers of change in email and again all in CC, that was a web desin company and had 200 customers. Never used that, BAD. Professional Code of Ethic. I used that company for a PHP / mySQL based Reciprocal Links Manager that they developed for me. :-)
