Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie and i need to build my inbound links. Does anyone know where to buy a software like link popularity check software which i can install at my site so that visitors can check their link popularity for free?. I want to provide some free services at my site in order to attract repeat visits, recommendations from webmasters and increase my inbound links. I don't know where to buy and how to install at my site. Need help fast please.

You could try scripts sources like hotscripts, or even (shudder!) searching the web for such programs. My guess is that most are custom written and maintained, though, because they would require maintenance every time a search engine changed its results display.

The other thing to consider is whether search engines would permit your site to query their site hundreds or thousands of times per day or whether some might consider this a TOS violation. I know some sites offer this service, but I don't know if they've had to work things out with Google et al.

Getting beyond link pop checking, perhaps you could find some "code validation" or similar scripts that operate on individual web pages. These wouldn't require as much maintenance, nor would they involve third parties (SEs). How about a site mapper?
