Hi,

I like to know name (url, if possible )of free downloadable tools used to auto submit in 'selected' directories and 'sites'.

I optimized my site with suitable keywords then I need to do link Development. My plan is from directories, and complimentary sites. Manual submission consume a lot of time. what about FFAs? Affiliate programs? Webrings?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Shaiju Jose

Manual submission consume a lot of time.

Quite true, shaijujose. But that's how you get good quality links with low risk of being penalized. Forget the FFAs & similar. The techniques you are describing worked three or four years ago, but are now largely ineffective. Instead of trying for a large number of useless links, to conserve your limited time I suggest you focus on trying to obtain a small number of good links - it will give you a faster PR boost, and be less risky.

Welcome, by the way! :)

10 good links will give you good PR and some traffic.

1000's of bad links will get you dropped from the engines.

Focus on your site being a long term business and build it in such a manner......then you make money after you have stopped work.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, shaijujose!

You want an easy way to get links. If such a thing existed we would all have a PR of 10!

As many others have pointed out, hard work is the only way to get a good collection of links.

There are specific directories for most topics, they are most easily found using DMOZ (or directory.google.com) and searching under topic, then directories.

Don't use softwares for Submission and or Link Popularitry. Sites offersing the best of the softwares are themselves banned from Google. I am not including names as that would be BAD to put them and could be negative publicity for them. Won't like to do it.

Work on some good, decent Link Popularity and Manual Submission and Submit to the right category in DMOZ. Don't mass submit!

I would definatly say do not use auto submission software.

When we talk about this subject we are looking at it purely from a webmaster point of view. Try looking at it from the se's point of view. Most of the sites that these auto submission programs target are small directories, usualy home grown and essentialy "one man shows". Auto submission software can cause massive problems for such sites.
