Hello WebmasterWorld guys,

I would like to know your opinion about which volume is better for keywords? Low volume? Medium volume? High volume?

I started a new website and I am choosing keywords with around 100 to 300 searches per month.

Thank in advance!

Do you mean that first you choose a keyword? then you find out what to write about it?

By the way, I assume that the higher the volume of search is, the higher the number of web sites cover this subject, and so the lower is your change to succeed to rank high.

íThank you for your reply justpassing!

Yeah! Do you think it's a good idea to start with low-volume keywords in my articles? Like for example, keywords with 10 to 50 monthly searches. I think these words are easier to classify in the first results of the search engine, but I do not know if the long tail keywords are still working today. Too, I don┤t know if it's a good strategy to a new domain or not.

So, I would like to know more opinions about following a long tail keyword strategy in 2018 and if it is an effective strategy according to you.

Writing to keywords? Will be interesting to see how that works.

Sites that a generally successful have a reason to exist, topic, theme, data ... usually something that has a passion, or at least a business reason, to exist.

Do the keywords in the OP have any relation to each other, or just happen to be keywords to be targeted?
