any suggestions about where to find a good facebook applications programmer, company or software?

Not sure if companies have popped up yet that offer this but I am sure we aren't far off.
If you explain the scope more I may be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction... right now the best documentation is from Facebook.

Search Facebook for a "Developer Garage" near you (developer meetups, usually at a pub), then go along. You'll find a room full of developers touting for business...
