OK, I knew it was linking problem and was something silly. Now I have to change links to ../images/logo.gif, adding the two dots to get the links to work. I'm using Dreamweaver MX and am sure I'm doing something wrong, but I've tried both site root and relative to document. The site is in its own folder on my desktop. My feeling is that since Dreamweaver automatically puts templates in their own folder it should also automatically account for those links.

ARGGHH!

Dreamweaver does account for the Templates folder in its linking, so there's something wrong with your setup and we need more info to diagnose the problem.

Do you have your template(s) and nothing but templates in the Templates folder? Do you have your site defined properly in DW's site management area? How exactly are you creating these links that don't work? What is DW putting in there for the links?

Please provide an example of the link that DW creates. What do you have to change that to? And what specifically doesn't work? When you "preview in browser" do you have DW set to use a temp file? Do the links work when you upload the files to your server?
