Hi, I designed web site layout in photoshop then added onOver events in Image ready and saved optimized as then saved it as template in dreamweaver and its all working gr8...

but the problem is whenever I change my mind to change a color or something in the original layout or even to add something new... I have to repeat all the steps and overwrite the old template so is there a way to just update my template with the new colors or with what I added?

thanks

I'm not sure I understand...

If, when you created the template you indicated that changes to the template were to promulgate to all files based on that template, then all you do is open the template and edit it.
When you save it, Dreamweaver will update all the files based on that template.
You can also force an update from the Modify menu, asking to update all files depending on templates.

Ah - I understand now. No, it wasn't that you didn't explain it properly, I didn't see the significance of the ImageReady bit....
In which case, I can't help. Sorry!

I can't answer your question regarding Photoshop/ImageReady to DW problem but, if you use Fireworks for image creation and mouseovers you can set it to update your template HTML, real handy.

Depending on how you've done this, I'd look at the image files and/or slices to see if I could just save one or more image files to the same filenames without disturbing anything else. Or, if colors (like background colors) are specified by name or number, try a global find and replace in dreamweaver's template file.
