Does anyone have recommendations on better FTP programs? I would certainly be willing to pay for the peace of mind.
Thanks
I can always depend on an files on my server comprised of 0 bytes.
I found this when working with one particular server, so it may actually be more to do with the FTP server software running at your host than with your FTP client software.
That said; I know exactly what you mean about FTP clients being "somewhat mediocre". Hard-coded 60 second time-outs and all that nonsense! If my server ain't there it ain't there!
I'll sticky you the details of a robust, well designed commercial FTP client that i've been using for a couple of years now with no problems - and i'm fussy when it comes to FTP clients....!
