ADDED: The more I look at your message the more I think what you're referring to is you accidentally deleted a program like CuteFTP that offers Explorer shell integration so you can right click on an file and FTP it to your website.
Let me know which scenario above best describes your situation. Thanks.
It was a seperate freeware or shareware program which was recommended on WebmasterWorld to us and put an "FTP to" function into the menu choice when you right click on a file or graphic in the web folders on your hard drive.
This function is not on XP and the wizzard does not give you this lovely simple option for FTP of files.
We were removing unused programs to try an speed up and repair the function of our system and did not recognise the program, so it got removed. (now a lot better, but we can not update our webs.
Thanks
Here ya go spiky,
This utility has the ability to add an 'ftp_to' for the right click menu for single or multiple files. Just what you had before...
After you install, you have a shortcut in your start menu. When run, scroll down the list and check the ftp utility. Then you see a link unter that to add your ftp server to the list of ftp sites you need to use.
Hope that helps...
Other good features as well, I like the 'find duplicate files' or change dates on files, etc.
