Dreamweaver Drag & Drop

I was wondering if any one else has had this problem.

First off I have a layer made as a place holder for an image. Then I drag and drop an image into it from the file and assets panel. The image appears in design view and I save the file. However, when I go to preview the web page it isn't there. The only way I've found to fix this is going to the properties panel and open the source folder. But doing that just negates the time I saved from dragging and dropping.

Is this just an error in dreamweavers program or is there a patch to fix this? Or should I reset my preferences? Any Ideas?

Sounds odd. I have to say I have never really used the assets panel for more than inserting Library items and I'd do that differently if I could (can you?). And those get a bit muddled from time to time whereby the DW cache is fine but the actual image paths are broken so the browser has troubles. Also DW tended to crash if I pulled too much together this way - might be one of the more fragile elements of the app?

I have always found ctrl+shift+I works for me :)
