I would like to be able to import from the web cfm into my trusty frontpage 2000. Can anyone recommend an editor that will import cfm file extensions and let me edit and publish via Frontpage in html?

Macromedia ColdFusion MX 6.1 [macromedia.com]

I believe your best option is to purchase the ColdFusion software for cfm pages.

You could always configure your FP to open and edit cfm files but I'm not sure about the resulting output, especially with FP2000. You may want to look at the features in FP2003 and see if there is a facility for maintaining cfm pages.

I don't think that FP will let you use Cold Fusion in the WYSIWYG part of the program, and to be honest I havn't heard of anyone using FP with CF. As pageoneresults said, you may be able to get FP to open a cfm doc, but I don't think it will work in WYSIWYG. Kinda hard to write an if statment in a graphical interface. ;-)

I believe with the newer version of Cold Fusion the editor that works best with it is DreamWeaver. Older version of CF used a program called Cold Fusion Studio which in my opinion has more options available for CF editing than DreamWeaver does.
