DreamWeaver Template Update Problem

Problems with page update

Hello -

I'm currently using DreamWeaver MX 2004 V.7 and working on templates.

I have two pages using one template. When I edit the template and save the changes, DW prompts me to update the 2 pages using the template. When I click on 'start' it does the update process, but when finished, it says '0 updates'.

This just started happening recently. Before, any changes on the template updates all the pages using that template. Could this be a bug in DW that I'm not aware of?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible that the section that you changed in the template was inside of an "editable region"? If so, then the dependent pages will not be updated.

As long as you have not edited or stripped the fed off template pages via manual or automatic code- cleaning, then i would think it more likely it was a bug.

However worth double checking that you have not delinked the master template!

Thnx a lot for the help. It was user error after all =) The nested template that i was working on is an 'editable region'. Thanx again.
