I am currently working on my company's website and I ran into a snag about the site layout. I want to place a "news article" table with an image and text that's updated based on a template. The problem is, now that I have all the pages created and saved as normal html pages, is there a quick and easy way of altering all (20 or so) pages so that the table and cells will automatically update when I write a new "article"?

This has to do with editable regions and making templates, but will all my pages have to become templates?

Any ideas?

No, is the simple answer,

strip the content and add to a template page, with 20 pages should take all of 10 minutes.

If you make a library item of the 'news' and place it into the 20 pages you will then be able to update the library item and it will automatically update all the pages when changed.

Okay,

I tried using the "library" approach and it seems to work well so far. The coding is going well and the table/cell placement issue will only occur during this first phase.

I really appreciate you pointing out this feature as I've only stumbled through rudimentary approaches thus far. I hope all the links in the "news" library table work as they should (I don't see why they wouldn't).

Lastly, I guess I can take from this excercise that using library components would be a great (if not simple) way of blogging an area not normally associated with any other html. My personal site has a cell I've dedicated to a "what's new" topic. Now it looks like I'll be able to easily incorporate such a topic (my site uses iframes so, thankfully, I'll only have to "libraryize" the main page).
