log in system

i want to create a log in system in frontpage. users will enter a desired password, then a user name. then they will granted access to a page. next time when they come, they will enter their name and passoword, then they will enter the member page.

i dont want anyone to see the member page without going through the log in.

please, can you think of asimple way in frontpage, using the wizards and templates etc. i am used to wysiwyg.

can you show me how?

You have to use Server Side Scripting such as PHP or ASP to use advanced log-in features.

If your host does not offer PHP or ASP support, you could use and .htaccess password protection for certain directories. In this case, you would have to add new users manually to the .htaccess file.
