How do I make the site search work?

I want to add a site search using the web component I can seem to make it work. How do I link my pages to it or is it a waste of time? I there a better solution?

THe FP search component will work fine if your host's FP extensions are setup and configured properly.

I tend to use Atomz for sites under 500 pages.

I love FrontPage for building and maintaining my site, but in my experience, FrontPage search is extremely slow.

I'd suggest trying something else. I used Master.com's free search for a while, but now I use Google's free "site search" tool, which has the advantage of being instantly familiar to anyone who's ever used Google.
