As far as downloading I haven't seen it in a while.
Someone mentioned they were able to buy a copy on Ebay. Take a look there if all else fails.
I've found MX2004 to be the first WYSIWYG editor worth using. Prior releases I found lacking. I personally still use the Code View more often than WYSISYG, but the times I do use the Layout View (for the redundant or menial tasks) it works flawlessly for me. And when coding manually, I'm actually usually using Split View, so that a quick click on a table will take me directly to the code I'm looking for.
It also does a spectacular job of Validating code, which I find indespensable. The code editor also has pretty much every feature you could possibly want (based on today's current features anyhoo).
I wasn't that happy with it and didn't really see the value.
Code Validation was working much better form me in a freeware wysiwyg type tool that not only told you what was wrong, but fixed most of it.
I thought that was cool - and it turned out that wasn't what MX at the time was doing.
Was there an original MX and then a better MX 2004?
