Hello, I'm Robert and I have a question reguarding dreamweavers main page you build code/design on. Near the bottom left of the screen, it shows a little tab that says the name of the page you saved the page as, or if you didn't save it yet or rename it it says untitled 1, and if you open a new page you get untitled 2, or what ever you name it as. This is on the bottom left of the screen, not the top part. On my computer it shows the tabs, but my friends computer doesn't and he wants to turn it on. I have not been able to find out how to either enable it or disable it. Has anyone here? It is the same at school, some computers have it, and some don't.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Robert

Edit>Preferences>General Options>put a checkmark in front of "Open files in New Window"

If the above doesn't work, are you certain you are comparing the same versions of DW?

I did that it was checked already and it is on mine but not on my friends , yes both are dreamweaver mx. Also, I use dreamweaver mx in my college class and some of the 40 computers have them and some don't. Teacher can't seem to get them to work even on hers.

anyone else.

p.s. I clicked the button and unchecked it, no difference, but thanks for the effort :)

Those tabs appear when you have a page you're working on, maximized. They should disappear when you reduce the size of your pages windows.
