Editable regions are now locked suddenly !

Is it a template restriction ?

I am doing a site which is designed using dream viewer templates. I am having 7 different templates for different areas of the site. The templates & its sub html pages( Pages generated based on above templates) are working all right until yesterday.

Now when I am trying to change the HTML pages in dream viewer, I am not allowed to do any changes the contents which are defined as editable regions in the original template. Now when I am trying to save the changes it is throwing me the following error.

making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded.

Now the pages generated by all 7 original templates are displaying the above error.

How can be all the templates are changed suddenly. Is there any gloable option I have activated accidently?

Please note that I am using single level template. (I am not using any cascade templates)

Does not sound right.

Editable regions are for content, and different navigational structure's.

What are you using your edit regions for?

I am using the editable regions for change different contents and for the menu navigation structure. You can refer to my site (http://www.slecic.lk/index2.html), mind you it is still under construction. There are 2 editable regions one for menu structure and one for contents body. I have created 2 seperate layout tables for those. Now when I am trying to insert a new layout cell in the dream viewer in either body or in the menu (Which located left side of the site)editoble regions, it is throwing me the error. But I can go and insert <tr> and <td> in the code section of any of the pages.
