Does anyone know a way to change all local websites to a different drive (from C: to D:) without having to go into each site definition and make the change manually?

I have many sites that I would like to put on a new and larger drive... and I am hoping to automate the process.

A few months ago I had a major failure on my computer that required me to reinstall the operating system in a different way from the original manufacturer. It's a long story (don't ask!) but when I was finished I ended up with my default drive being on K: rather than C:.

My investigations suggested that it is very difficult to change this so I just left it as K:. As I didn't have any problems with DW your question made me check this. I find that my older site definition files are still set to C: but that DW seems to recognise that the root folder has changed to K:. I have not had to change any of these.

Thanks. I changed the drive letters in the reg. More that 100 sites.... there should be a better way to do this as I suppose there are plenty of people having to move a block of sites to another drive...

Just glad it is done.
