Yahoo Site builder

I have been using junky yahoo sitebuilder to build, rebuild, and edit my site...

When using a validator, I get a jillion errors...like no doc type...etc.

Since I am somewhat new to the website building thing, do you have suggestions as to how to correct this junk? It is quiet disheartening...

Or, do you have suggestions for a good freeware WYSIWYG editor?

Have you had a look at the collection of HTML editors listed in Wikipedia? They have a fairly well maintained matrix you can peruse: [en.wikipedia.org...]
