No Good Spellckecker?

Getting off front page finally...

One real drawback with DW CS4 is the spell checker. Is there an add on that allows for the red squiggly line spell checker? I'm really surprised DW doesn't have it. I'm almost about to "toss" it for Expressions after spending over $300.

I just switched from MX to CS4 a few weeks ago. There is a spell checker. F7 activates it. I have not seen an option to underline typos as you go, if you find one, let me know.

p.s. Good job dumping FrontPage. I was able to do that last year as I had one site left on FP and the client wanted a redesign. I was glad to do so ;-)

Is this a sitewide spell checker?

Also can anyone who is using DW4 comment on its worth?

Not sure BeeDee. AFAIK it's a page spell-checker for the current page.

Comment? I may get a chuckle out of this in a few years, but I can see some fantastic time saving elements here compared to FP. I was never able to handle editable regions with FP, or never knew if any existed...still don't...let alone template changes on the fly. I was always using find and replace but never really trusted it.

I'm a slow learner...and sometimes impatient...hehe. Didn't even know what a </br> tag was. Toying with a "redesign" my html load has been cut by 80%. I remember Brett saying keep it under 15K, but I thought how in the he...can I accomplish that. My site is loaded with tables within tables.

Now I'm playing with a new site before I attempt to redesign the other. Wow! I feel like I know something now. The index page is 6KB!

Just started using cs4..wow did adobe do a number on that one...I am finding myself completely baffled doing the most basic things...my advice is to look elsewhere!
